PRIVATE RESIDENCE - SOMERSET

This kitchen really was a delight to work on. The owner only wanted to use reclaimed local timber. And so began the search… we even used some wood from our great grandfather's bed.

The wood has been left relatively untreated to give a rustic organic feel to the cabinets, and to enable the timber to continue to tell its story. The soft aged charm of the timber has been given a sharp modern finish with a micro-cement work surface - a relatively new material that's as durable as it is beautiful.
